The Cobourg Community Centre will host the final, pre-season home game for the Peterborough Petes hockey team on Friday, September 23, 2022, against their East Division rival, the Kingston Frontenacs.
The Cobourg Community Centre will host the game in partnership with the Cobourg Cougars, West Northumberland Girls Hockey Association, and Northumberland Minor Hockey. Several exciting events are being planned by the organizing committee to raise funds for minor hockey in Cobourg to help make Canada’s sport more accessible. Ticket holders will have the opportunity to participate in autograph signings and a community skate with members of the Cobourg Cougars, team mascots, and some OHL scratch players. Additionally, coaches from West Northumberland Girls Hockey Association and Northumberland Minor Hockey can sign up for a Coaches Clinic.

Priority access to tickets will be given to Cobourg minor hockey families, as well as Cobourg Cougars and Peterborough Petes Season Ticket Members. Ticket prices are $20 + fees ($3.42) and HST for adults, and $10 + fees ($3.42) and HST for youth ages 12 and under.
The Ontario Hockey League (OHL) announced a total of five pre-season Petes games, with three home games played in communities outside of Peterborough. The Cobourg Community Centre will host the Petes vs. Kingston Frontenacs on Friday, September 23rd. Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m.
