Festival
The Cobourg Waterfront Festival has evolved into a panorama of sight and sound. It is and always has been a weekend filled with the pleasures and pride of talented individuals showing their wares and festival goers enjoying music and excitement. It all kindles pride in being a Canadian. The Cobourg Waterfront Festival is now ranked as the leading outdoor show of its kind in Ontario, and the third largest Canada Day celebration in the country. Learn more at waterfrontfestival.ca.
July 1st:
Parade - 11 a.m. on King Street, from William to D'Arcy street
Opening Canada Day Ceremonies in the Victoria Park Bandshell - 1 p.m.
Fireworks - 10 p.m., over the harbour
The Town of Cobourg will be offering complimentary shuttles to festival locations for all three days of the festival. For shuttle and road closure information click here.

*Strawberry Social: Presented bythe Lions Club of Cobourg and Northumberland United Way. Tickets are $15 in advance ($20 at the tent). The menu includes meatballs, coleslaw, macaroni salad, cold cuts, buns, strawberry dessert, coffee or tea. Strawberries are donated by Burnham Family Farm Market.
Advanced tickets may be purchased until Thursday, June 30 at 9 a.m. by calling 905-373-5942 or tickets can be purchased at the tent. Net proceeds will go the Northumberland United Way.
