The Ontario government has partnered with Metrolinx to provide a safe, reliable and convenient option for people to receive their COVID‑19 vaccine. GO buses have been converted to serve as mobile vaccine clinics to get COVID‑19 vaccines directly to people, wherever they are located – travelling to malls, festivals, community hubs and events across Southern Ontario and beyond.
All GO-VAXX buses provide:
Each bus carries up to 300 doses per day and operates as a fully functioning vaccine clinic with the necessary supplies and trained staff to provide assistance to people and ensure vaccines are administered safely. All COVID‑19 safety precautions will be followed on board, including the required pre-vaccination screening and post-vaccination monitoring.
The buses are fully accessible.
An appointment for individuals aged five and over can be made to get the COVID‑19 vaccine at a GO-VAXX vaccine clinic. Walk-ins are welcome at all GO-VAXX and mobile indoor vaccine clinics, while supplies last.
GO-VAXX buses and mobile indoor clinics will not offer vaccines to children under five years old. For information on local options for vaccination of children aged 6 months to under 5 years old, please visit your local public health unit website.
