This 6-week leadership training program, created specifically for supervisors or those being groomed for supervisory positions in the Construction, Manufacturing, Agriculture or Food Service sectors, focuses on the supervisor's role in creating and maintaining the desired culture, knowing your leadership style, effective presence at work, crisis event management, team leadership, the supervisor's safety responsibilities, succeeding in either a unionized or a non-unionized environment, managing your boss and career, as well as basic financial literacy and tools you need to help you succeed in the industry and manage your team. This course is also well suited to more experienced managers who wish to improve their mastery of some of the more complex issues with managing large and diverse teams.
